Due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation I will be implementing a doorstep policy for both arrival and departure times, this is to protect both children and adults within the setting.

ARRIVAL. 

Upon arrival parents will asked to remain by the door and their child will be taken from them, shoes, coats and bags will be removed in the porch and placed in individual carrier bags for each child, children’s hands will be washed immediately on arrival and throughout the day as and when required.

DEPARTURE

Parents will remain at the front door which will remain closed until I have the child ready to leave.

Starting and finishing times will be staggered as much as possible to ensure only one family at a time is at the door, but if you arrive and another family is either arriving or leaving please maintain social distancing until I can take your child from you.

The safety of the children in my care remains my highest priority which is why this policy will be continued until further notice. Social distancing is neither practical nor possible to enforce with young children but good hygiene procedures and the cooperation of all parents will ensure children will be kept as safe as possible.
